Elumena's meaning is derived from - "e" for electronic; "lumena" for luminous - to shed light on all parts of an organization's operations. The vision of the Company is to provide a system that will help to improve communications, coordination, and efficiency among employees and managers of local government operations, resulting in better decision making and improved productivity. In addition, Elumena's technology will provide employees, managers, politicians, and citizens increased transparency into how tax dollars are spent. Headquartered in Cary, North Carolina, Elumena is a privately held company.
